Are you passionate about competitive sailing? We’re seeking a committed crew member to join our VXOne team, racing most Saturdays at RQYS. If you’re skilled in trimming sails and have a sharp sense of tactics this could be your chance to join an exciting team.
We’re looking for someone between 50-65kg, age 18-65, comfortable with Ilca-style hiking on short beats and eager to be part of a fun, fast-paced crew. No prior VXOne experience is needed, just enthusiasm and a team-oriented mindset. Open to both male and female sailors.

Looking for one or two keen sailors (some racing experience preferred but not essential) to join our crew pool for Summer Pointscore racing. We race competitively but enjoy each other’s company and what we do. Happy to mentor and share our skills with those keen to learn more about keelboat racing in a positive, supportive environment. For us, it would be important that you are able to commit to the program (every 2nd Sunday with the occasional Saturday). That’s certainly the best way to accelerate your learning and in doing so become a valuable (and valued) member of our race team.

We are looking for a few regulars to join our crew. We are a chilled boat, but we like to compete for fun, and currently have a good mix of male and female crew members.

Experience is welcome, but not required – we’re happy to take on complete beginners to ocean racers…

Racing includes competing in Manley Combined Club, RQYS sailing events, Kingfisher night series. We sail mostly in the Bay, but venture out for races such as Surf to City.
